Lot 400: An early 20th century ruby, sapphire and split pearl ring.

Description: An early 20th century ruby, sapphire and split pearl ring. The oval-shape ruby, sapphire and split pearl trefoil, to the openwork gallery and replacement band. Weight 3.5gms.
Condition Report: The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band is a replacement. Stamped 18ct. The split pearl is a possible replacement, some claws deficient. The ruby and sapphire have significant abrasion and small nicks. Description: A mid 20th century gold seed pearl floral cluster brooch. The seed pearl, within a split pearl double surround. Diameter 2.4cms. Weight 7.6gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear, there are some areas of significant discolouration to the reverse, the back pin has been reattached/replaced with visible lead solder. The split pearls vary in colour, some more grey others more peach, one is deficient and would need to be replaced. There are blisters and cracks to some. The settings may need to be secured.

Description: An 18ct gold and platinum sapphire and diamond three-stone crossover ring. The square-shape sapphire, to the brilliant-cut diamond sides, asymmetric shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. 18ct gold hallmarks for London, 1966. Weight 3.2gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear, the edging of the band is sharp, the band has been worn to each side by other rings and is no longer flat but tapered. The sapphire is a dark blue and appears opaque with abrasion to the facet edges. The diamonds are bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Description: A mid 20th century 15ct gold diamond dress ring. The old-cut diamond panel, to the scrolling gallery and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Weight 4.3gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Diamonds show some surface abrasion, with nibbles and chips to some facet edges. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity grade assessment, all with scattered inclusions that somewhat affect the light through the stone. Stamped 15ct. Ring size O1/2.
