Description: A diamond set bar brooch the principal central cluster set with circular cut diamond millegrain set and with a border of twelve small diamonds, each side pave set twenty six mixed cut diamonds, pierced gallery; together with a 15ct gold mounted Royal Flying Corps diamond set sweetheart brooch, applied to the centre with a rose cut diamond set monogram RFC, inscribed to reverse 11th NOV, 1918, contained in a tooled blue leather fitted case, stamped EDWARD...GLASGOW (2) Overall width 74mm. 6.4cm x 2.4cm
Condition Report: Diamond set bar brooch: Structural solder repairs either side of the circle. Pin resoldered leaving heat staining and pin itself replaced poorly. RFC brooch: Overall in good condition, enamel work with minor blemishes when viewed under loupe, pin original. Description: A late Victorian multi-gem set bracelet composed of six canted rectangular links, each claw set to the centre with a circular cut gem, including citrines, amethysts, peridot and garnet, to a white enamelled foliate scroll decorated surround, with concealed clasp and safety clip Length 18.4cm, 31.6g total
Condition Report: In fair condition overall. Clasp fastens securely. Some hinges need attention However at least one of the canted rectangular panels has damage and realtively minor areas of loss to the white enamelled decoration. Each circular cut gem approximately 8.4mm diameter. Description: An 18th/19th century gold and diamond set brooch of bow form, set square cut rose cut diamonds and a large baroque pearl suspension 31mm wide, pearl approximately 11mm long
Condition Report: A little tired overall, nevertheless a charming piece. Brooch: 3cm x 3cm Pearl approximately: 10mm x 11.4mm With evidence of a possible old repair, seen mostly to reverse of suspension hoop above baroque pearl drop. Also brooch fitting is crudely patched on. Baroque pearl untested.
