Description: A George III silver salt, in the form of an oval basket, Walter Brind, London, 1783, length 3.5in, 5oz.

Condition Report: The piece is double walled. There is a small dent to the exterior decoration close to the base of the handle. There is also a small dong to the interior gilded base. There are a couple of small dings/dents to the underside of the base rim. There are two small patches of gilding loss, just b y the interior rim by one handle. There are two uniform holes at opposite ends of the underside of the base which is probably part of construction. Overall condition is otherwise good. Marks clear. Description: A Russian 1st World War silver cigarette case, by Faberge, of rounded rectangular form, embossed with the Imperial double headed eagle and inscription with dates, bearing later marks (see footnote), 3.75in.

Condition Report: Although the cigarette case is genuine the later "Faberge" makers marks are fake. With grateful thanks to Mr. Geoffrey Munn. There is a small split to the base of the case by the hinge. All four corners of the base have several dents. There is a small area along the side of the base where there are numerous scratches/gouges/. The top left side corners of the lid have several small dents. There is a small dent to the interior rim of the base. The embossed lettering beneath the imperial eagle is showing signs of wear. The general overall condition is average. Shipping to the USA we recommend DHL - £93.25 plus VAT with compensation up to £2500.00 or Parcel force gobal express - £65.00 uninsured.
