Giles, Oxford' written beneath in another hand, a.e.g., orig. red cloth gilt, soiled and some edge wear, crudely rebacked, 8vo Mary Harriet Rowden was the daughter of Edward Wetherall Rowden (1814-1870), MA New College, Oxford, a registrar at the college from 1853 until his death.
