Description: China, c. 1900, comprising a pair of embroidered silk lotus shoes made for bound feet; together with a clock decoration enclosed in an embroidered silk case with tassels. Shoes (4 7/8"L) Clock decoration 16"L (top of holder to bottom of tassels) 2 1/2"D. Condition: shoes with some losses to paper lining, never worn, some creases, both items in good condition. Description: Chinese, first quarter of the 20th century, comprising a medium blue silk damask pleated skirt embroidered with stylized fruit and flowers, enclosed within embroidered scrolling metallic gold borders (29"W (at waistband. 37"L waistband to hem); a lavender, green, blue and yellow pleated panel skirt embroidered in shades of blue thread and metallic gold thread with stylized flowers (46"W at waistband. 37"L waistband to hem); and a slate blue damask panel skirt embroidered with stylized flowers (44"W at waistband. 39"L waistband to hem).
