Description: [ Railwayana ] A set of five volumes of plans of the former Southern Railway line from Coleford Junction to Ifracombe to a Scale of 2 chains :1in dmf in red cloth covers with gilt titling. Each volume is between lin and 1.5in thick and roughly A4 size in matching slip case. Prepared by Br Wr in 1952 these plans are coloured, show all the buildings track layout still as it was in Sr days and original landowners when the line was constructed as well as subsequent disposals. Part of a series for the whole of the Wr prepared specially for senior officers. This set was for the Chief Regional Manager Together with a single volume in the same style for the stretch of line between Mp 122 south of Yate to Mp II4.5 north of Wickwar on the ex Ma Bristol - Gloucester Line This copy was for the District Engineer .
