Description: VINTAGE 1937 MARTIN, D-28, ACOUSTIC GUITAR, SERIAL #65574, 14 FRET, 1937: having 14 frets mounted on a mother-of- pearl snowflake inlay fret board; solid peghead with original Grover tuning keys and gilt inscription: "C.F. Martin Co. 1833" across top; ivory imbedded herringbone accents on an Adirondack spruce top with "comma shape" pickguard; Brazilian rosewood back and sides with "zipper" back stripe and ivroid body binding; ivory string pegs and bridge. This guitar was purchased by the consigners father in 1942.
