Description: GEORGE III STYLE MAHOGANY BREAKFRONT. H: 85.75in W: 107.75in D: 18in Condition: Overall condition is good. Structurally sound. No evidence of restoration. Beautiful patina to mouldings throughout and to top cornice. Craquelure to veneered band beneath cornice, as well as to top band of lower section of breakfront, as expected with age ( most likely mid-late 19th century). Scratches and minor wear surrounding top doors escutcheons and surrounding top doors hinges. Minimal dripping and wear. lightly scattered throughout main body of breakfront (Namely bands separating buttom drawers, inside shelves, inner sides, etc.) but mostly to base. A most handsome and impressive piece.
