Condition Report: Frame rubbing. Glue relined; scattered cracquelure throughout. Paint surface is flattened. Areas of inpaint scattered throughout; most concentrated in lower area of face and neck. Earlier restoration evident in upper left area of face. Evidence of mold in two circular areas on the verso (both roughly 3" in diameter) which correspond to areas of concentrated fine craquelure on the recto. Some bubbling of relined canvas at corners. 2-inch repaired vertical tear above ship on right. 1/4" spot of inpaint in lower right; fine vertical 1 1/2" line of inpaint in upper left. Lower area of water has been reworked. Thinned in areas due to overcleaning. Some areas of scuffing in sky. Very fine craquelure throughout.
