This Fall Auction includes treasures from all around the world. Some of this country's finest artists are represented on Day One including Charles Russell, William Stubbs, William Prior, Samuel Badger, E. T. Baker, and Percy Sanborn. From the Lucy Rosen estate of NYC comes one of the finest collections of Renaissance jewelry ever to be brought to the podium, a rare event not to be missed. Of equal importance will be the Early Chinese Jade collection of Ann B. Stern, NYC, 40 lots in all. From Russia comes 16 lots of enameled silver, Icons, an Imperial Presentation piece and more. 17th century London is represented in our collection of ephemera by the extremely rare three volume set 'The Works of Ben Jonson,' 1640 edition. Fine furniture from England, France and Ireland as well as superb examples of 18th and 19th c American period furniture will include secretaries, highboys, tea tables, chests, sideboards, chairs and tables. Ship Models, chronometers, ivory and even a line throwing gun will be included in our nautical section. Tall Case Clocks from England and America include an untouched example by Maine clockmaker Frederic Wingate. Middle East and Chinese carpets from palace size to area mats will be offered. Also featured on this day will be 80 lots of English and American military and sporting firearms and accoutrements from the 18th c. to the present.

TEDDY BEAR - Early 20th c. jointed mohair Teddy Roosevelt Bear, glass eyes with sewn black nose and mouth, jointed head, felt pad paws. 15 in. high, 9 in. wide, good condition, minor wear on fur, growler not working.
Lot 2: Vintage Cast Iron Horse Drawn Hook & Ladder Wagon
TOY - Vintage cast iron horse drawn hook and ladder wagon with three horse rig, (2) drivers, (4) ladders, in red, yellow and black paint. 8" high, 27" long, 4" wide, wear to paint and yellow ladders, tip of two ladders missing, 1 1/2" break on wagon.
Lot 3: Painted Cast Iron Mechanical Bank Boy on Ball
BANK - Vintage painted cast iron mechanical bank, boy on ball in red, blue and tan on japanned base. 9 3/4" high, 5" wide, 5" deep, 99%; original paint, trap door cracked, small chip on base lower left front.
Lot 4: Mechanical Toy Bank Black Hermit in Shack 1885
MECHANICAL TOY BANK - Black Hermit in Shack with 1885 patent, figure flips head over heels to kick coin down roof into slot, activated by paintbrush on side of hut, 3 3/4" tall, 4 1/4" x 2 7/8", not working, 80% paint.
