Edmond Petitjean Biography
(b Vosges, France 1844; d Paris 1925) French painter. Edmond Petitjean is known for his paintings of landscapes and seascapes. His work was first shown at the 1874 Salon in Paris. In 1883 he joined the Salon of French Artists. He was awarded several medals from the Salon including first-place in 1884. Petitjean also exhibited at the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris.
