He
studied
at
the
Escuela
Nacional
de
Bellas
Artes
in
Buenos
Aires
from
1938
to
1942
and
in
1945
was
a
founder-member
of
the
ASOCIACIÓN
ARTE
CONCRETO
INVENCIÓN.
He
played
a
leading
role
in
the
development
of
abstract
art
in
Argentina
during
the
1940s
and
1950s.
From
1945
he
worked
in
a
Constructivist
style
that
took
as
its
starting-point
the
notion
of
a
line
