Artfact Introduces Enhanced Live Auction Software

With Jump In Mobile Traffic, Company Delivers New Features That Make
Live Bidding From Anywhere Easier

BOSTON, April 4, 2012—Artfact, the leading live auction software, tools and services provider, said today that it will meet growing demand for live bidding from computers, tablets and, increasingly, mobile devices with the latest version of its live bidding software platform. Available immediately, Artfact’s platform now allows auction-goers to more easily register and bid in real-time from any computer, smartphone or tablet, and participate in auctions around the world. Artfact currently offers a live bidding app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices.

• Is optimized for today’s enhanced display resolution, making the screen appear larger and clearer so that anyone can easily follow what’s happening on the auction floor.

• Provides a new "Maximum Bid" feature that takes the stress out of bidding. Rather than worry about whether they are clicking the BID NOW button fast enough, bidders can now simply place a maximum bid, and wait. The console places the bid for them, at increments, until the maximum is reached.

• Delivers an easy-to-read "Available Bid Limit” feature. Now bidders can instantly track how much of their auction bid limit remains. Available Bid Limit subtracts the amount of items already won and the outstanding maximum bids already placed from the overall approved bid limit, helping them keep track as the auction progresses.
