How it Works

Artfact Fine Art is based on a list of over 500,000 international artists--the largest anywhere. There are over 1.75 million works of art sold by prestigious auction houses around the world extracted from the Past Price Database and organized by artist. All users may view each artist's page on Artfact that includes:

• biographical data
• selected images of works and auction price results
• works available for sale at upcoming auctions
• auction houses that have offered each artist's works
• literature about the artists
• related artists from the Art Genre Guide
• weblinks to sources of additional information

Find your favorite artists in three ways: the alphabetical artist list; a selection of prominent artists sorted into in over 200 defined genres, or a selection of the Artfact 1,000™ most prominent artists.
