UI Designer
Job description
You may currently go by Web designer, Interaction designer, Visual designer, or UX design guru. Whatever your title, if your talents and experience translate into making websites look and work beautifully, we’d like to know more about you.
We are looking for an experienced UI Designer to join our dynamic environment where you will work as part of the Product team, taking responsibility for designing a wide range of user interfaces for our websites, web applications and SaaS products. The ideal candidate is a passionate student of the web and a strong advocate for user-oriented design.
Responsibilities include:
- Guide the visual and interactive evolution of websites and products across multiple platforms
- Design visual elements, flows and compelling user interactions
- Translate complex ideas into elegant, intuitive designs
- Advocate for branding and style consistency across all platform UIs
- Conduct ongoing research of web-based user interface development best practices
- Contribute to UX research efforts to better understand customer needs
- Work closely with product managers, development teams and other internal stakeholders to design and deliver proof-of-concept mockups and high fidelity development-ready assets
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven ability to create and execute visual and interaction design concepts
- Experience managing design process and mentoring designers
- Experience creating exceptional online products or interactive websites from wireframes to delivery
- Experience with user-testing and implementing best practices in UX/UI
- Excellent sense of typography, layout, and general design principles
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills

Inside Sales Account Executive
Job description
Artfact is looking for an Inside Sales Representative based in our Allston, MA office to help drive new revenue growth in the $40 billion live auction market. If you are great on the phone, results-oriented and self-driven to consistently exceed your sales quota each month, we have a unique sales opportunity for you!
Responsibilities include:
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quota
- At minimum, record a minimum of 70 sales calls per day
- Record all prospect and client information in Salesforce.com
- Utilize the sales consultative process to understand prospect and client needs and to recommend solutions that meet/exceed those needs
- Work with your sales colleagues to optimize the sales process and implement best practices to achieve results
Desired Skills & Experience
- 1+ years of inside sales experience with strong qualification, negotiation and closing skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com preferred
- Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated work ethic, consistent track record of over-achievement, energetic personality

Accounting Assistant
Job description
The Accounting Assistant will report to the Controller and will support and work closely with the VP – Finance, Controller and Senior Accountant assisting in all aspects of the day to day accounting, monthly closings, special projects and presentations for the Board of Directors meetings.
Responsibilities include:
- Audit and input accounts payable invoices and maintain vendor files
- Research and resolve vendor discrepancies
- Accounts Receivable invoicing
- Research and resolution of customer billing inquiries
- Journal Entry preparation, input and filing
- Identify and record month end accruals
- Monthly account analysis and reconciliations
- Custody and maintenance of month-end close book
- Year-end audit support
- Tax return and filing support
- Account and variance analysis
- Ad Hoc report development
- Perform revenue integrity checks
- Maintain records in support of invoicing for consulting projects
- Maintain prepaid, fixed asset and deferred revenue schedules
- Input budget to accounting system
- General filing, copying
Desired Skills & Experience
- BS with concentration in accounting/finance
- 1-2 years general accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Experience with MS Dynamics GP 2010 a huge plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interaction/communication, including with various levels of management
